RENTON, Wash. - Lofa Tatupu has a bone bruise in his right knee, but coach Mike Holmgren said the Pro Bowl linebacker will be fine for the season opener Sept. 7 at Buffalo.
Tatupu, Pro Bowl quarterback Matt Hasselbeck (tight back), No. 3 quarterback Charlie Frye (knee) and starting right tackle Sean Locklear (knee) missed practice Wednesday. All except Frye will miss Friday's preseason finale against Oakland. Frye may be available but backup quarterback Seneca Wallace will start and No. 4 quarterback Dalton Bell will also play.
Seattle brought back free agent long snapper Jeff Robinson. He replaces Tim Lindsey on the roster and has the job thought to be rookie draft pick Tyler Schmitt's. Schmitt is on injured reserve with a back injury.

AP - Having played "perfectly" to beat Manchester United, AC Milan now can try to avenge one of its most painful defeats. With a 3-0 rout of Manchester United on Wednesday, Milan earned a 5-3 aggregate victory and moved into the Champions League final against Liverpool. Two years ago, the English club rallied from a three-goal deficit to beat Milan on penalty kicks for the crown.
AP - Mike Williams heard all the disparaging comments about his work ethic, his weight and his ability as he wallowed on the bench with the Detroit Lions.
AP - The Tampa Bay Devil Rays have made Minnesota's All-Star closer Joe Nathan look ordinary. The Devil Rays rallied for two in the ninth inning against Nathan and pinch-hitter Dioner Navarro drove in the winning run with a grounder in the 10th to give Tampa Bay a 4-3 victory over the Twins on Wednesday night.
